The flea market shopping video with Kenneth and friends was great and very informative. It also introduced me to this wonderful website which I intend to visit often. It has all the things I’m interested in.

Loved the video. It makes me want to check out the Rose Bowl flea market for myself. Now if only we can all borrow Kenneth to go shopping with us so we can make the right choices. But your tips were very helpful. Thanks for featuring one of the nicest and most talented designers around — Kenneth Brown.

Kristi and Kathy,

You bet it was fun. The Rose Bowl is a fabulous marketplace; kept seeing cool booth upon cool booth. Oh, and an amazing place to people-watch.

Kathy, I got that wonderful antique desk clock and the wild screen print for my 9 yo daughter’s room. I wish I had picked up that French daybed though.

Thanks for popping over,
– Kathy

Hi Linda,

Thanks so much. The Rose Bowl is awesome and I suggest springing for the “Early-Bird” admission…lots of great finds and also nice temperatures during hot summer months.

Wouldn’t it be fabulous if Kenneth could be a personal design tour guide? It was a pleasure to feature and work with him.

Come by anytime,
– Kathy

I actually did not like a single piece that was picked up. I saw a great set of chairs behind the day bed that NO ONE asked about.

I guess it goes to show that everyone has a different taste.

Hi Keeton,

You are so right about the different taste thing. It happens with me and my husband. And there was so much more I saw and liked (bet I know what chairs you are talking about–very cool) but curse the budget of a blogger.

Good luck on all your treasure hunts and thanks for stopping by!
– Kathy

Wow, I am so excited to be visiting my sissy A.J in L.A. and visiting this enormous flea market. See you soon.

Hey Lorie,

Excellent! Please report back to us about your day at the flea market with a comment here, or an email to suggestions@homeworkshop.com. We’d love to know what treasures you found.

And have a fun-filled time visiting your sister.

Thanks for popping in,
– Kathy
